During this visit, which was attended by economic officials, industrial managers, and entrepreneurship figures, various sections of the factory — including production lines, packaging units, wastewater treatment facility, central warehouse, and quality control department — were thoroughly inspected. Key issues such as raw material supply, productivity enhancement, infrastructure development, and employment growth were discussed in detail.

Dr. Motamedian, referring to the vital role of the food industry in national food security, stated:

“Enterprises such as Pooya Protein, with efficient management, skilled human resources, and advanced technological infrastructure, represent valuable assets of Tehran Province that play a crucial role in stabilizing employment, boosting production, and realizing the goals of a resilient economy. Supporting such organizations is both a national duty and a strategic priority for the provincial administration.”

He further added:

“The ‘Production Support Sundays’ initiative has been established to foster direct communication with industrialists and identify as well as resolve executive and administrative challenges. In this regard, executive bodies are required to maintain effective and continuous cooperation with active production units, including Pooya Protein.”

During the session, the management of Pooya Protein presented a detailed report on the company’s operations, production capacities, and challenges, along with its development plans. According to the report, the company, employing over one thousand specialists, has a daily production capacity exceeding 120 tons of fresh and processed meat products and 30 tons of sausages and hamburgers, positioning it among the largest and most successful producers in Iran’s protein industry.

Mr. Milad Ganji, CEO of Pooya Protein, emphasized:

“Since its establishment in 1997, Pooya Protein has built its mission upon three fundamental principles: quality, health, and innovation. By strictly adhering to international standards such as ISO 22000 and HACCP, we take pride in offering safe, hygienic, and high-quality products to Iranian consumers. Our goal is continuous quality improvement and a strong presence in both domestic and international markets.”

At the conclusion of the visit, the Governor of Tehran expressed appreciation for the technical and managerial achievements of Pooya Protein and reaffirmed the Governorate’s ongoing commitment to supporting successful production enterprises and facilitating investment processes in the food industry.
